Dr. Simpson
obtained his M.D. from The University of Chicago in 1986. He
completed his
internship at Virginia Mason Hospital in general surgery from 1986 -
1987 and his residency in general surgery from 1987 - 1991.
Dr.
Simpson has been doing vein surgery for over ten years. He
was Chief of Vascular Surgery at Maricopa Medical Center until 1997
when he entered private practice in the Valley.
Dr. Simpson is
board certified by the American Board of Surgery, and is a current fellow
of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Simpson has been a member
of the teaching faculty at Midwestern University and Arizona Health
Sciences University since 1999. He is also a clinical assistant
professor at the University of Arizona. Dr. Simpson is the recipient
of the Golden Scalpel Award, for excellence in teaching, in 1995 and 1996.
